Chas Everitt Cape St Francis Holiday Rental: A simple A-frame house situated at the entrance of Cape St Francis opposite the Nature Reserve with braai facilities that will make for legendary memories. CAPE ST FRANCIS is a small village with approximately 800 properties, and is surrounded by a nature reserve and protected green areas. Watched over by a lighthouse built in 1878, this town has one of the most spectacular and pristine beaches along the coast. The ambience is still very much that of a fishing village and the housing style tends towards rustic and unconventional. The climate is temperate and the prevailing wind ensures good surfing, hence the famous Seal Point surf spot. The wild side is a rocky coastline with excellent fishing, rock pools and rock formations. Stretching inland are vast expanses of protected reserve through which many nature trails have been cut and offer delightful, non-strenuous walks. This village is truly a gem and those visiting it for the first time tend to describe it as a place they thought did not exist anymore! The nature reserve walks boast several bird species, small antelope, monkeys, fynbos and other indigenous plants.
