JEFFREYS BAY

Jeffreys Bay is a picturesque town situated on the coast of the Eastern Cape. Bracketed by an amphitheatre of towering mountains and its world renowned surfing beaches. Talented surfers skilled to ride their boards in the tubes of majestic waves or just ahead of the great white rollers will tell you that the professionals rate Jeffreys Bay amongst the ten best surfing points in the world. And conchologists say the beaches here are unbeatable for the variety and number of seashells. Over 400 types of seashells make this the most abundant natural coastline in South Africa.

Jeffreys Bay offers you the tranquil environment of a town yet growth has been rapid. The recently announced Fountains Shopping Centre Commercial node at the entrance to the town will firmly entrench it as the preferred major shopping area for the surrounding towns. Jeffreys Bay has a large permanent residential component with many tourism opportunities. It has a well established Junior School, with plans in place for a High School in future.

The bustling town is bordered on both sides by nature reserves and rivers – the Kabeljouws and the Seekoei Estuaries and within Jeffreys Bay – the Noorsekloof Nature Reserve. The beautiful beaches acquired blue flag status in 2004. The canal system at Marina Martinique is ideal for stylish waterfront living, while Aston Bay and Paradise Beach offer a peaceful, uncommercialised haven , with magnificent dunes, the Seekoei River in between and endless beaches.

We invite you to soak up the sunshine, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and have a wonderful stay. Jeffreys Bay offers varied accommodation from luxury beach houses, game farms to budget backpackers. Contact us for holiday homes which are available to rent throughout the year.

Whether you are a permanent resident or a holidaymaker, what could be more relaxing than an ice cold beer or steaming mug of coffee, whilst enjoying the breathtaking views from your own patio, or from the numerous pubs, restaurants and coffee shops.
